We have been buying Dani Slatter's ice cream for a couple of years now and it is safe to say that nothing else comes remotely close. The packaging is fantastic, the service is superb and the product is simply delicious. As for comments about the pricing - ice cream is supposed to be a treat so why not pay a bit more for something really special.
It is refreshing also to see MILK as the number one ingredient (closely followed by cream, yum!). This is actual proper ice cream and my family won't eat it from anyone else.
Well done Dani - you've worked hard and I hope your business continues to thrive.
We have been eating Cotswold Ice Cream as a family since they started and now won't eat anything else! My favourite flavour is Double Chocolate although Lemon Meringue comes a close second - just delicious. Best thing is that we can buy it from the local co-op, just a walk from home.
The Cotswold ice cream company create genuinely good quality products, based in Cheltenham the company seems to have appeared from nowhere in a short space of time, to now distributing their product to a handful of outlets in the Cotswolds. Although still very much small scale, quality always wins through and without doubt this company is one to watch. Aside from good packaging and good quality (organic and fair-trade) they do however completely price themselves out of the market, and the products price tag will fail to appeal to the masses. Good value for money? your have to judge that for yourself, im not yet convinced.
